Responsibilities

Examples of job responsibilities include:

  • Assist with activities of daily living as directed by a care plan (bathing, showering, meal preparation, light housekeeping, toileting, etc.)
  • Ensure highest client safety and well-being of clients as well as yourself
  • Provide companion care, respite care, homemaking and personal care
  • Medication reminders

Skills & Qualifications

  • Home Care or Related Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current CPR certification
  • Complete a TB Screening Test (within last 12 months)
  • Current Florida CNA License or 75 Hour HHA Certification Required
  • Level 2 Background Screening
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

  • Other tasks as assigned by branch Administrator
  • Provide Physical Therapy (PT) visits to clients within their homes throughout the service area.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be a Physical Therapist (PT) licensed in the State, preferably with two (2) years experience.
  • Must have at least one (1) year experience in home care.
  • Must meet the requirements of the State Department of Health and have verifiable license.
  • Bilingual language helpful (Spanish/ English)
  • Ability to multi task and work independently
  • Familiarity with electronic patient/medical records a plus, but not required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience with at least one year of home care experience required.
  • Caring, compassionate attitude towards patient care.
  • Previous experience managing other clinicians preferred.
